Description:

What is believed to be the highest church purchase in the United States this year, and the second highest church this century in California. Mission Realty represented the Universal Church in the purchase of 1925 Wilshire Boulevard in for $27,800,000. The bank owned property is a church and a four story office building sitting on 2.15 acres in the center of the Mac Arthur Park Community of Los Angeles, California.

The church (54,839 sq. ft.) is 90% completed with a projected completion of December 2013. Once completed the Cathedral's sanctuary will seat 1580 plus people. In addition, there is a banquet hall for 500 and a Community Center Room for sports or community gatherings and activities.

Once the total facility is completed projected by 2014, the Cathedral and office building will be connected as one facility instead of the two as they are presently today.

Today, the four-story office building (42,558 sq. ft. ) contains a sanctuary, library, dining area, kitchen, classrooms, offices, conference rooms, large storage areas, and bathrooms.

When the project is completed it will be the regional Cathedral for Southern California with the regional administration offices, TV studio, seminary, as well as the Mac Arthur Park community center with its large banquet hall and community/sport center for the community needs.
